Sr. Differential Privacy Research Engineer, Mozilla Corporation, Mountain View, CA & Sugar Land, TX: perform research into data obfuscation methods for generation of anonymized datasets; design & implement experiments to assess real-world threat models pertaining to sensitive info release; & publish research findings in peer- reviewed academic journals & international conferences. The position may be eligible for telecommuting from any location in the U.S. Must have a Ph.D. in Statistics or Mathematics & 2 yrs of exp writing large-scale data analysis w/Apache Spark. Must have (i) 2 yrs of exp performing statistical inference applied to noise-obfuscated data collections; (ii) 2 yrs of exp developing statistical packages in Python and R; & (iii) 1 yr exp performing probabilistic analysis of unlikely events & outlier detection.
