Mozilla is hiring Software Engineering Interns into our technical teams throughout the world. Our headquarters are based in the Bay Area, but we also have opportunities at our offices in Portland, Vancouver, Toronto, London, Paris, and Berlin! The following roles are for our Toronto office.

We are engineers, designers, makers, and problem solvers. We work in the fishbowl known as open source, with a clear focus on making the Web better. Working with us, you’ll help build amazing things like Gecko, Firefox, Rust, and more. To be part of the team, we ask that you be awesome, intelligent, and proud to be moving the mission forward. Rock on.

Mozilla isn’t just a great place to work. It’s an experience you’ll carry with you throughout your career. As part of our internship program, you’ll have the opportunity to be mentored one-on-one by somebody brilliant, to impact the projects you’ll collaborate on, and to never be bored. Ever. From the passionate people you’ll learn from, to the chances you’ll have to make the Web a better place, your time with Mozilla will be unlike any other.

Below is a small snapshot of the work we do to give you an idea about some of the big things you could do at Mozilla.

We have 3 positions open for the following roles:   Front End Engineer

Firefox is a major part of the online lives of hundreds of millions of Internet users. Online experiences are more important than ever, and Firefox engineers make those experiences better.  We work across platforms and form factor, from phones and tablets to laptops and desktops. Our job is to lead by example, to raise the bar on what a browser can be.

We want human-focused engineers to put users in control of their online lives, and to deliver great experiences across devices. You will use a variety of technologies to build and improve Firefox features and front end performance. You will be judged by how much awesome you add to our users’ lives.

Firefox Developer Tools Intern – Designer Tools

At Mozilla we really care about promoting the open web, and that means helping everyone create amazing websites. We’d like you to be part of that - help us to help not only web developers, but also designers by creating amazing tools.

Browser developer tools have had a tradition of being mostly targeted at seasoned developers and we want you to help us change this. The team is exploring new opportunities for more visual tools that provide ways to manipulate and change elements directly in the page.

  Firefox Accounts Intern

Firefox Accounts is the core authentication and identity component of Mozilla's cloud service ecosystem.  Every single day we connect millions of users with the services that power their Firefox experience, such as Sync and Addons.  We're seeking an enthusiastic intern who is keen to work across the full service stack, from front-end UI to back-end server code, to help our users get connected as quickly, seamlessly, and securely as possible.  If you can see yourself working as part of a tight-knit global team, collaborating in the open to ship software that improves the online experience of users all across the world, then we’d love to hear from you.
